PST Sport’s pitches offer the very latest in artificial turf technology. Our high quality artificial grass carpet range is incredibly robust, player friendly and designed to give outstanding performance, regardless of weather conditions.
Our finished pitches are independently tested and adhere to the highest global standards for training and competitive play. Pitch quality, safety characteristics and pitch performance are independently tested at various stages during the construction process to ensure stringent quality standards are met.
Introducing our Superb artificial turf carpet range
We have a long standing and successful partnership with CCGrass, a leading global producer of artificial turf and one of only four companies worldwide with Preferred Producer status for FIFA, World Rugby and FIH.
Together with CCGrass we have developed a specially designed artificial turf sports surface called Superb; the product of choice for clubs such as Munster Rugby, St. Vincent’s GAA, Carrigaline United FC and many more. We completed our first installation using Superb artificial grass carpet at Munster Rugby’s Irish Independent Park in August 2018.
The high quality of raw materials used in the production process gives Superb unrivalled characteristics making it incredibly strong, soft and resilient. Superb is a denser carpet supported by a special thatch yarn. Characteristics include an industry high dtex of 17,000, diamond shaped blade 400 micron wide, PU backing, a C8 polymer compound and successful Lisport wear testing up to 500,000 cycles. Instead of having the industry standard 8-years, Superb is much more robust with a 12-year warranty.

With over 12 years’ extensive experience and a solid reputation in civil engineering we understand that the work below ground is a critical element in constructing an artificial grass pitch. Many pitch bases are built without taking existing ground conditions into account. PST Sport use innovative ground testing methods combining science and mathematics to design our pitch sub base ensuring ensuing the long-term stability of a PST Sport pitch. This helps to create a more stable and player friendly base, ideal for soccer, GAA and rugby.
Experience
To date, PST Sport has laid over 300 artificial grass pitches in Ireland for clubs, schools, colleges and local authorities across twenty-nine counties. Our experienced and highly-skilled team have worked on a wide range of installation projects; over 30 FIFA accredited fields as well as multiple full-size pitches tested and approved to World Rugby, GAA and FIH. We have also installed numerous training size sports surfaces and multi-use astro turf pitches (MUGAs) that can facilitate a number of sports
Through our continued commitment to excellence we successfully expanded into the UK market in 2016. Later that year we installed a full-size FIFA Quality PRO training pitch at Chelsea’s Cobham Training Ground.
